Services and facilities

Southbank Institute of Technology libraries are committed to providing equal access for all students. If you require assistance using the resources or facilities available please contact the library. The Library aims to provide services and facilities enabling independent use and ease of access as far as possible, while providing specialist equipment and individual assistance where needed to enhance students use of the library and information resources.

The following software programs are available at the Southbank campus library for students with disabilities and may be made available at the other libraries when needed:

Access to library buildings

Southbank, Cotah and Morningside libraries all have lift access. Kangaroo Point has a disability car park (you need a disability sticker) between B and C blocks adjacent to the library or the road behind B block can be used to access the library.

Services for students with disabilities at the e-Learn centre

The primary resource for students with disabilities is the Southbank campus e-Learn centre which offers a comprehensive range of support services including a dedicated disabilities tutor.
