Tours and Workshops
Southbank Institute of Technology library offers a range of orientation and information literacy services, including course-related workshops, tours and research skills tutorials.
Library orientation tours are offered each semester and include an introduction to the catalogue, databases, online resources and general library services and facilities. New students should check their orientation pack for tour schedules.
Teachers may book a tour or workshop for their students, tailored to their course and assessment, by contacting their faculty liaison librarian.
The library provides a free online information literacy course called SAIL. SAIL is delivered through Blackboard and requires a login and password. Please contact your faculty liaison librarian or email your interest to sail.sbit@southbank.edu.au.
