Each year around 30,000 students enrol in Southbank Institute's 300 courses and develop skills using state-of-the-art training facilities.
Southbank is in a prime location and central to everything - public transport, cultural arts and entertainment, the city centre, the famous Gold Coast beaches and theme parks, and the beautiful Sunshine Coast with its rainforests.
The institute's three campuses are in the heart of Brisbane with access to the city centre and a variety of cultural and entertainment facilities.
Public transport to the campuses is easy, accessible and cheap with buses, trains and ferries covering all areas of Brisbane. The institute also provides a regular bus service between campuses.
Study is tailored to accommodate busy lifestyles with a range of study modes available, for example, full and part time, classroom, workshops, online, external and on-the-job. (Not all modes are available for all programs.)
Modern training facilities include purpose built laboratories. These facilities give our students practical experience with working with real life clients.
In addition, links with industry to develop training and provide workplace experience ensures Southbank Institute's graduates are in high demand with employers.
